Traditionally this blessing is done at dusk, while standing in the center of your gardening plot, after last harvest.
"Your work is done, the harvest gone
I bring thee thanks for work hard won.
Eleven magick, fill this place
bring blessed sleep and peaceful grace
to soil and garden tired and worn
that in the spring will be reborn.
Many moons will pass till then
recover quickly, my old friend.
Blessings and thanksgiving upon you.
So mote it be. "

I will try this, most of the garden is settling into Autumn, but one apple tree is in disagreement and sporting some spring blossom. LOL
