Gaia,
dear Goddess, we have done so much to damage you,
our carelessness hurting the only home we have.
For that we ask your forgiveness.
As you accept our apology, we offer now
our changed attitude,
our love
our healing energy
and our solidarity as people
so that we may undo which we have already done
make aware those who need to learn
and guarantee that the same mistake of our past will never be repeated again.
So mote it be
And it is so.

Gentle poem, dear Phoenix. I'm also reminded of those wonderful tribal human beings who have always lived in harmony with the earth and from whom we can now learn how to do so.
