Prayer For Religious Tolerance

Posted on Oct 17th, 2009 by Phoenix : Reborn and Complete Phoenix
Source of Many Names
The words we use to honor you are different and diverse
Help us see that beneath all these differences
we are all connected
Allow use to see beauty in our religious diversitiese,
and show us ways to honor each other,
no matter which way we choose to connect to You.
Let acceptance among all people of all faiths be cherished as a great virtue.

So mote it be
And it is so

Join me today in prayer and light to mulitply religious tolerance around the world.
Thank you!

So often we as people hear words and names and use those words and names to separate us, to draw lines and boundaries.  Even in really subtle ways.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could look to see what joins us rather than that which separates us?  Thanks for this prayer, Claudia.
