What would you most like to see changed in the world?

While the list of what I would like to change is long - tonight my mind is focused upon the planned NASA bombing of the moon.
I am not a Scientist, but I am concerned about an endeavor that could have impact upon so many people on our planet.
Let me begin with the amount of money that is spent on a mission - which could be spend in so many different ways. People need to be fed, educated, the damage we have done to our planet has to be fixed - the list of possible spending of this money in a more constructive way is endless.
Then there is the fact that we are not sure of the exact impact this bombing will have upon the moon, its orbit or any other possible effects that might result. Unless there would be an absolute guarantee that nothing can go wrong, I think messing with the moon is just not a good idea.
The other fact, that many religious paths are connected with the moon, and to which she is sacred is also an aspect that disturbs me, especially as a Wiccan Witch.
In any case, this bit of news really upset me.

I think there is a big difference between “bombing” something, or “smashing into” something.
In my book, “bombing” would mean the intentional setting of some sort of explosive charge, perhaps in conjunction with smashing into something, but not necessarily so, meant on destroying something. On the other hand, smashing something into the Moon, in my understanding of what I've been reading about this, is just that - no “bombs” going off - just allowing a package of instruments to use the natural force of gravity (the Moon does have it's own gravity, albeit somewhat less than Earth's) to create a somewhat bigger hole than if a space-craft were to settle down upon the surface. June Bugs hitting windshields at 60 mph probably exert more force, relative to size of the package that will do the “smashing”. Probably the impact wouldn't be any greater than that of the “packages” carrying the two robotic space-wanderers that have been crawling across Mars for the last several years. Will the God of War get upset about that?
The Moon is gradually disintegrating on its own anyways, but I don't see that this “smashing” would be something that will hasten its demise, in approximately 5,000 years or so, according to some occult texts. In those same texts, the Moon “stands in” for another (undiscovered?) planet, occultly, and in itself then, is NOT sacred. Some of the older Earth religions based on the Moon as sacred, if they are around in 5,000 years will probably by that time, recognize the true role that the Moon plays in this Universal saga.
I think in the end, though, it is a colossal waste of money to do this “smashing”, especially at this time when so many are suffering from starvation and disease on this planet. On that we agree, for sure!

Feed families by creating jobs, build roads and schools and hospitals. Let the moon take care of itself, it's been doing fine all this time, leave it alone.
