I can see a lot of thought went into your alter, how are you celebrating earth day on the 22nd ? Your herbs look good, have you tried stacking pots, three graded sized pots with narrow bottoms and wide tops largest bottom smallest on top?

I have the same view about Earth day, that I have about Mother’s Day - do we need a special day to celebrate Mother Earth? I celebrate the best to my abilites on a daily basis, as a part of my spiritual path, but each and every time, someone meantiones Earth Day, I do point out what they can do, or any local events I might know about. It is a good conversation starter with people who usually would not think about the difference they can make. For me it is a way of life, a constant way of thinking how I can do better then I did yesterday, and how I can educate myself some more, in any way possible. Ok, now I sound like a preacher giving a sermon - yikes. Sorry, got carried away.
No, I have not thought about stacking pots - I miss having a “real” garden, but it is cool to be able to have some way to plant something. My basil needs a haircut though.

Claudia I agree, earth day, mothers day, fathers day etc, should be every day and a part of our way of life, today is pampering Mum day she comes home from hospital this afternoon.
