Unique Perspective - Unique Opportunity

Posted on Aug 4th, 2009 by Phoenix : Reborn and Complete Phoenix

It creates a unique perspective to be living a faith that has been hidden its details for good reason, for such a long time, especially living this faith way out of the broom closet as I do. It puts me in the position to having to be ready to explain my actions, my celebrations, my rituals, and my every day spiritual living to those close to me, and those who choose to ask questions (I welcome them). This unique perspective brought me to this blog today, it brought me to use this energy to transform it into a unique opportunity. If I already feel I have to be able to explain my way of life to many, I mind as well write about it. Taking it further then the instruction style writing I have done before here, I want to let you closer into my life as a witch - the thoughts and discussions, the debates with others and with myself on issues that pertain this ways of life. I choose this medium and this particular blog today here, because here I feel comfortable, midst an open-minded group of people, who are all here to learn from each other in every possible way.
Thank you.

Have you successfully changed something about yourself?

Posted on Aug 4th, 2009 by Phoenix : Reborn and Complete Phoenix
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 04, 2009:

I have changed from a person who everyone else wants me to be, to a person I want to be. It is the most powerful revelation ( I believe) one can have about one self - becoming authentic with every breath, stop appologizing for who you are and what you aspire to be. Then, only then is it possible to reach ones potential.

Blessed Be!

No Longer A Solitary Witch

Posted on Aug 5th, 2009 by Phoenix : Reborn and Complete Phoenix
I am no longer a solitary witch, I now belong to the Order of Scathach.
For this independent minded, free loving witch, this was a big step. Was I willing to accept the rules of a coven or order, and submit myself to rank and training, or would I not be happier on my own, discovering my truth in my own way, in my own time?
As I have come across this Order, I have discovered a unity, which does not  make me submit to a set of rules, that focus more on the color of which candle to use on the altar, but a group who develops the skills of the individual witch, the path of self-discovery and the acknowledgment of the warrior within all of us.
I believe, that one can not be a magician without being a warrior - not in the sense of a violent person, but in the sense of standing up for others, taking responsibility for every aspect of ones life, discovering ones aspects, and learning to strengthening those aspects to the fullest. This Order nourishes just that.
So as of yesterday, I am a Wiccan Warrior of the Order of Scathach, a Novice, ready to learn.

Blessed Be!

Healing

Posted on Aug 19th, 2009 by Phoenix : Reborn and Complete Phoenix
A Spell for Healing

Light a blue candle and visualize the person who needs healing. When the picture is clear in your mind, target the area of disease and color it bright read. Now visualize tiny workers with buckets of soft green paint, brushes and rollers. Hold the picture until the workers completely cover the affected area with green. Then open your eyes and chant:

I hold you in my heart
and wrap you in my love
my circle of protection
descends now from above
and as I send this energy,
all pain shall disappear
and all disease shall dissipate
and shrivel up in fear.
The emptiness I now replace
with fresh vitality,
so you may thrive upon the Earth
in laughter, love and glee.
Brightest blessings and good health, my friend
encase you from now on.
I ask that They watch over you
And keep you well and strong.

Let the candle burn all the way out.

As with all spells remember the rules of ethics. Never put a spell upon another person without their specific permission.
